Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of dailyunfold.com (“Daily Unfold”, “the game”, “we”, or “us”). By playing the game, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What Daily Unfold is

Daily Unfold is a free, browser-based puzzle game. Each day, three puzzles are generated at three difficulty levels (easy, medium, hard), plus an optional timed Expert mode with a public leaderboard. An Archive of previous days’ puzzles is available for practice.

The game is supported by advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

2. Eligibility

Daily Unfold is a general-audience game. You must be at least 13 years old to use the site. If you’re under 18, please get a parent or guardian’s permission before playing or submitting anything (such as an Expert nickname).

3. Fair play

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, macros, or other automated tools to play puzzles or submit Expert leaderboard entries.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the daily puzzle generation in order to submit impossibly fast times.
• Submit offensive, harassing, or impersonating nicknames. We reserve the right to remove any leaderboard entry at our discretion.
• Interfere with the site’s operation, attempt to access data that isn’t yours, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without authorization.

4. Leaderboard nicknames

When you submit a time to the Expert leaderboard, your chosen nickname is publicly displayed alongside your time and rank. Don’t use real names, contact details, or anything you wouldn’t want to be visible.

You can change your nickname from within the game. Past leaderboard entries retain whatever nickname was used at the time of submission.

5. Intellectual property

The Daily Unfold name, logo, puzzle generation engine, source code, and site design are the property of the Daily Unfold team. You may:

• Share your daily results (including screenshots and share-text) freely.
• Link to the game from anywhere.
• Write about or review the game.

You may not copy the puzzle generation logic, embed the game elsewhere without permission, or redistribute the assets.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the game running every day, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may go down for maintenance, or a particular day’s puzzles may be briefly unavailable. Your local progress is stored on your device and is not dependent on the server.

7. Advertising

Daily Unfold shows ads through Google AdSense and Google H5 Games Ads. Ads help keep the game free. We do our best to place them at natural, non-intrusive moments. If you see an ad you believe violates Google’s policies, you can report it through Google’s standard reporting channels.

8. Disclaimer

Daily Unfold is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no promises that the game will be error-free, continuously available, or suited to any particular purpose. It’s a puzzle game — enjoy it, but don’t rely on it for anything critical.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Daily Unfold team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, which for nearly all users is zero.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the new terms.
